This Sunday, I am sharing with you one of my favorite recipes from my Plant Potions Book!
Don't Go Bananas Latte is a delicious, creamy latte for adults and babies alike! I love this warm, soothing drink as a bedtime snack. It's packed with fibre, fat, and nourishing herbs such as Chamomile, Oatstraw and Catnip that soothe the nervous system and sway you into a peaceful slumber.
12 ounces of LMH Don't Go Bananas Tea, steeped 1/4 cup Oat, Cashew or Almond Mylk 1/2 a Banana 1 tsp. of Almond Butter 1 date, pitted
To make your LMH Don't Go Bananas tea, steep 2 tsp. of tea to 12 ounces of hot water. Allow to steep for a minimum of 15 minutes. Meanwhile, dispense your mylk, banana, almond butter and date into your blender. Once your tea is steeped, strain and add your tea to the blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until creamy.
You're probably thinking...Catnip?! I give this to my cat, why would I give this to my baby? Well, Catnip has the opposite effect on humans that it does on cats, meaning Catnip is an effective herb for calming the nervous system and is safe for children.
